ZooCMS Crew - the development team

Currently only one person is developing ZooCMS:

Jan 'Mithrandir' Catalan

Jan has worked with PHP since 2002. In the summer of 2003, he found XOOPS, liked it and created some modules for it. By 2004, he was the Module Development Team Leader and a core developer.

In 2005, he was the development lead on XOOPS 2.2, which unfortunately led to disagreements with parts of the community and other leading members of the XOOPS inner circle.

In 2006, he left XOOPS completely to focus on his job as XOOPS developer at IDG Denmark and, later that year, to finish his M.Sc. thesis in Software Development at the IT University of Copenhagen.

After a very successful thesis, Jan was hired as project manager at Mediehuset Ingeniøren (loosely translated "Engineering Weekly" - a weekly Danish technology newspaper)
In 2010, following a brief spell as project manager at Drupal and .Net development company Propeople, he found employment as a Drupal developer at Berlingske Media - a subsidiary of international media company Mecom.

Jan is the mind behind ZooCMS and has worked on it since Zend Framework  1.5 was released in 2008, currently lives in Copenhagen with his wife and no other children than the ZooCMS "baby".
